Time is running out on remuneration reports

Supervisory boards of public companies listed on a regulated market are required to prepare reports on the remuneration of their management and supervisory boards for the past financial year prior to convening a general shareholders meeting. Such reports are subject to being verified by a certified auditor. This verification is not, however, an audit, but rather an assurance service separate from audit of financial statements. It may, however, be performed by the same entity that audits the company’s financial statements.
