When selling (assigning) receivables to a factor, a factorer determines his tax-deductible costs in accordance with the general cost principle. As a rule, the cost incurred is the nominal value of the sold receivable in gross terms (i.e. including VAT) — states a general interpretation issued by the Ministry of Finance.
